Euganean Hills Natural Park

Euganean Hills Natural Park cover

The Park has been a protected area since 1989 and covers over 18,000 hectares, with a great variety of evocative landscapes and stunning natural views. It’s not surprising that the poet Petrarch chose to live in this area during his final years. We recommend a visit to the Benedictine Abbey of Praglia with its marvellous Renaissance cloisters, and also to the towns of Arquà, Galzignano, Torreglia and Valsanzibio.
